The Scholarship Committee of the SBA has announced the timetable for applications and awards for the 2013 scholarships. There are two scholarships for which the Scholarship Committee accepts applications - the Judge Phyllis Kravitch Award, presented to a qualifying law student, and the Judge Eugene Gadsden Award, presented to a graduating high school senior to be used to in furtherance of undergraduate studies.
Reminder notices will be sent to school counselors and financial aid offices in January 2013 by The Savannah Community Foundation, Inc., which administers both awards. The deadline for applications for both scholarships will be Friday, March 29, 2013, at noon.
Additional details will be sent to SBA members by separate email notification as the deadline for application approaches.
